Dear Brothers & Sisters all over the world, I greet you in the sweet name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our Lord Jesus will never leave us nor forsake us. He will hold our right hand and continue to lead us in this month of August. Our God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly, will change our captivity in this month of August and keep us in a broad place (Psalm 118:5). Prepare your heart to accept the realities through the exhortation that comes from God through His servants and through various means & ways. You will be guided in the right path. Do not worry. Jesus is always with you.

Shall we accept exhortation from God through His people?

Yes indeed, it is absolutely important to know the significance of God’s exhortation through His servants, through His Words and through various means & ways. That’s what Paul writes to the Thessalonians in 1 Thessalonians 2:4-12, “But as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who tests our hearts. For neither at any time did we use flattering words, as you know, nor a cloak for covetousness—God is witness. Nor did we seek glory from men, either from you or from others, when we might have made demands as apostles of Christ. But we were gentle among you, just as a nursing mother cherishes her own children. So, affectionately longing for you, we were well pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God, but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us. For you remember, brethren, our labour and toil; for labouring night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you, we preached to you the gospel of God. You are witnesses, and God also, how devoutly and justly and blamelessly we behaved ourselves among you who believe; as you know how we exhorted, and comforted, and charged every one of you, as a father does his own children, that you would walk worthy of God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory.” From this passage it is absolutely clear that the servants of God who you accept should exhort you to grow in your faith towards God. And on the other hand, the servants of God also should play the role of a spiritual father, to exhort his/her spiritual sons/daughters. God might also exhort His children through a prophetic revelation (1 Corinthians 14:3). The exhortation might be regarding faith (Acts 14:22), regarding the sober mind of the young ones (Titus 2:6) or to escape the deceitfulness of sin (Hebrews 3:13) or might be regarding the chastening of the Lord (Hebrews 12:5). So, get ready to take all exhortations from God so that you will be like silver refined 7 times.

Conclusion:

Lord Jesus is everything for us…………!
Lord Jesus will lead us into the right path……!
Lord Jesus will exhort us today to make us a perfect vessel…..!
Lord Jesus will make you a witness for His name’s sake……………..!

Heavenly Father,

I praise You and magnify Your Holy Name. I come to You in the precious name of Your Son Jesus Christ. You will guide with Your eye so that I will not go astray. I also believe whatever exhortation You give today is for my good only. I know that You will not despise me at any stage of my life. Lord bless this month of August. Let every goodness shall follow me in this month. In Jesus name. Amen.
